On the afternoon of August 29th, Accompanied by Professor Hua Yinqun of The School of Mechanics,Vice President Ding Jianning came to our institute to investigate the progress of the construction of the  Institute, and all the faculty and staff of the Institute participated in the investigation activity.
Accompanied by the Executive President Professor Ye Yunxia, Vice President Ding Jianning first visited the achievement display cabinet, laboratory instruments and equipment, teachers' studio, graduate studio and other hardware facilities of the Institute, and then heared Ye yunxia's report on the development of the Institute in the conference room.
    President Ye Yunxia reported the construction progress of the Institute from the aspects of construction ideas, characteristic platforms, scientific research achievements, and undertaking projects. Based on the current foundation of the Institute, she made plans for its future development and proposed the development mode of integrating directions, concentrating on breakthroughs, focusing on one major and multi-functional.Vice President ding jianning gave full recognition to the achievements of the institute, and put forward higher requirements for the future development of the institute :(1)Find the right direction, define the goals, and seize the development opportunities.The institute should strive to strengthen cooperation with leading enterprises in the industry and top units in the field.(2) pay attention to basic research and applied research, and the cultivation of our own characteristics;(3) Gather the strength of the whole hospital, condense major tasks, take tasks as traction, and take results as guidance;(4) Conduct basic research and application research based on the devices required by the country.
    Finally, President Ye Yunxia said the investigations fully reflect the school leader to the concern and support from the institute for research institute pointed out the direction of future development, institute of all the staff will be more steadfast effort, unity and enterprising, further research work, for the school building "double first class and high level research university".
