On September 26-28, 2020, the 4th Micro-Nano Optics Technology and Application Exchange Conference was held in Chengdu. The conference was sponsored by the Chinese Optical Engineering Society, with Jiangsu Optical Society as the co-organizers. The chairpersons of the conference are Academician Lu Yueguang, Academician Chen Lianghui, Academician Fan Dianyuan, Academician Xu Zuyan, Academician Guo Guangcan, Academician Chu Junhao, Academician Zhu Shining, Academician Xu Hongxing, Academician Luo Xiangang. Zhang Yixing and Zhao Yu attended the conference on behalf of Micronano Optoelectronics and THz Technology Research Institute.
        Zhang Yixing of Jiangsu University presented a poster titled "High-sensitivity detection of chlorothalonil via Terahertz Metasensor" at the venue, introducing the research progress of the Institute of Micro-Nano Optoelectronics and Terahertz Institute of Jiangsu University in the field of terahertz metamaterial detection, and The detection of pesticide residues in agricultural products introduces the high sensitivity and convenience of detection when using metamaterials, and prospects the application potential of this work in food safety and other aspects. Through this conference, the exchanges between Jiangsu University and various universities and research institutes have been promoted, and the visibility of the Micro-Nano Optoelectronics and THz Research Institute of Jiangsu University in the field of terahertz metamaterial detection has been expanded.
