On June 4, Bian Hongbing, secretary of Qiaolin Town, Jiangyan District, Taizhou City, And Li Zhongming, director of The Investment Bureau of Jiangyan Development Zone, came to our school for the exchange of learning. After years of development, Taizhou Industry has formed an overall pattern, which "taking economies of scale as the leader, relying on pillar industries, and focusing on advantageous products", and formed a larger scale with more complete categories, more complete supporting facilities, and more openness. With a high industrial development system, the role of industrial support in driving economic growth is becoming more and more significant. However, the industrial level is low, and the industrial structure is in a critical period of transition from traditional industries to high-tech industries. Therefore, the main purpose of the Jiangyan District leaders' visit is to investigate the scientific research status of our university's photoelectric sensing, photovoltaic cells, laser micro-nano processing and other high-tech fields.

Executive Vice President Ye Yunxia introduced the development history and research characteristics of the Institute. The leaders of Jiangyan District of Taizhou City highly praised the achievements made by our school in high-tech fields such as optoelectronic technology, and hoped to cooperate with Jiangsu University in many ways in the future to take advantage of Jiangsu University’s scientific research advantages and Taizhou’s industrial advantages, so that a new world in the high-tech field will be opened up.
