Xinhua Daily reported the research team of Professor Ye Yunxia

    On August 26, 2020, Xinhua Daily published an article entitled "Building a" Double chain "fusion, Jiangsu Innovation power" in the science and Technology Weekly.The article points out that the provincial Department of Science and Technology has set up a new subject of oriented selective task for carbon fiber and third-generation semiconductor in this year's guide, focusing on the new material industry field with advantages in our province, and forming a key research task with clear objectives through concise research content and assessment indicators.
    Carbon fiber reinforced resin matrix composite (CFRP) is an important strategic material, which is widely used in civil aircraft, public infrastructure and other fields. It is also the key technology that needs to be broken through at present in Our province.The project of "Key Technologies and Equipment for High Efficiency and High quality Laser Precision Cutting CFRP Composites", applied by Ye Yunxia team from School of Mechanical Engineering, Jiangsu University, proposed the technical scheme of serial cutting CFRP composites by using long pulse laser and ultra-short pulse laser in collaboration with multi-beam."At present, the engineering application of laser processing CFRP is still in its infancy. A few existing laser processing applications of CFRP can only guarantee the processing efficiency, but cannot control the processing quality."Ye yunxia introduced that the team will focus on the laser processing technology and related equipment that give consideration to processing efficiency and processing quality.
    Professor Ye yunxia's team has always adhered to the principle of "facing national needs and focusing on scientific and technological difficulties", and has been deeply engaged in advanced laser manufacturing field for many years, especially in laser impact forming, laser micro-nano processing, laser cutting and other aspects with rich theoretical and practical experience.The team has formed a good scientific research atmosphere dominated by the young and the old, and has undertaken many national, provincial and ministerial and other major projects. At the same time, based on enterprise engineering application, the team has solved many practical technical problems.
