From 20th to 23th April, the 13th National Tribology Conference & the 2017 National Youth Tribology Academic Conference were successfully held in Nanjing Zhongshan Hotel. Nearly 800 people from universities and industrial tribologists across the country participated in the meeting. The conference set 7 topics including nano-tribology, lubrication theory and application, biological and bionic tribology. Academicians Qunji Xue, Jianbin Luo, Weimin Liu and other academics attended the conference and gave speeches. They shared the latest achievements in the field of tribology and their thinking on the new issues of tribology.
        Seven people including teachers, post-doctors, and postgraduate students from the Center of Micro-Nano Science and Technology participated in the academic conference. The postgraduate student Shiyu Jiang's report titled "Research on design of Wind Turbine Based on the Principle of Triboelectric Static Induction" was selected as an outstanding report in the 2017 Young Tribology Academic Conference. The Center of Micro-Nano Science and Technology has always focused on the training and cultivation of students' academic thinking, and encouraged students to actively carry out scientific exploration. As a result, the quality of postgraduate has been significantly improved. In the past two years, the graduate students of the center have published 7 papers in the different academic journals, applied for and authorized more than 10 patents, and obtained 2 postgraduate innovation projects in Jiangsu Province, which has promoted the development of the discipline.
