On August 6-8, 2022, the China Micro/Nano Society held the Micro/Nano Sensing Technology and Detection Innovation Forum and the 7th China Micron and Nanotechnology Innovation Conference in Hangzhou. The conference aims to promote the cross integration of disciplines in the field of micro systems, promote the establishment of the interaction mechanism between universities, research institutes, enterprises and governments, build the ecology of academic technology product user finance and other industrial innovation chains, industrial chains and capital chains, create a common industrial technology support platform, and help promote the scale application of intelligent micro system technology products in medical and health, automotive electronics, consumer terminals, the Internet of Things+and other fields. Professor Ye Yunxia from the Institute of Micro nano Optoelectronics and Terahertz Technology of Jiangsu University attended the sub conference of Micro nano Machining and Sensors and gave a report on Ultra fast Precision Machining Terahertz Super Surface Sensors and Applications. The report systematically introduced the progress of ultra fast laser precision processing and terahertz metamaterials in Jiangsu University in recent years. Relevant work was concerned by experts, teachers and students attending the meeting. After the meeting, there was a warm discussion with relevant experts and scholars.
Advanced laser manufacturing is the dominant research direction of Jiangsu University. Laser direct writing has the characteristics of high precision and high flexibility, especially suitable for the preparation of special and small batch sensors. In recent years, Professor Ye Yunxia's research group has focused on the application of ultra fast laser precision processing to the preparation of terahertz metamaterial sensors, serving the identification of substances in the industrial and agricultural fields, and has made important progress in improving detection sensitivity, specificity detection strategies, etc.
